The latest version of EventON is 5.0.9. Could you update?
To update eventon to latest version: (If auto update works, please try that from with your website plugins page)
1. If you purchased eventON from codecanyon > Go to EventON Full page and verify your purchase to get a free copy of eventON latest version and move your purchase over to myeventon.com.
2. If you already purchased eventON from myeventon.com go to My Account > Downloads and get the latest version copy.
Once you have the latest version zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure ”Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is De-slected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. Could you check customer’s explanation of what can cause the issue:
I think that the issue is coming from the express checkout (Store API) implementation in this ticket plugin… specifically in the function that handles woocommerce_store_api_checkout_order_processed. I have looked at the code and I can see that it checks whether auto-complete is enabled (evotx_autocomplete) and then I see it directly calls $order->update_status(’completed’, ’Order auto-completed for ticket generation (express checkout)’)… I think that, the problem is –unlike the standard checkout flow, this express checkout function does not check/validate whether the order actually contains any ticket products before forcing the status to “completed”.
So that’s why we are only seeing the issue with Express Checkout orders… In the normal WooCommerce checkout flow, the plugin is checking for ticket items (via _eventid meta) and exits early if none are present, so non-ticket orders will remain in “processing”. BUT in the express checkout path (used by Google Pay & Apple Pay in WooPayments plugin) that validation is missing, so then all the orders processed through this pathway are being auto-completed regardless of the products being tickets or not.
I enabled Express Checkout on dev2, but the express section doesn’t appear:

Keep me posted on changes to the repeat event plugin – have you fixed the issue of changing dates and adding new events once the repeating event is set?

1. & 2. Thank you for your great suggestions, at the moment they are not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.
3. At this moment there are no plans on developing this feature, I am afraid. However, please create a new feature request as well. We do check all requests.
If your license isn’t activated on your staging website and you only use it to test things out, it is ok.
Thank you Ana, for sharing this detailed – it seems this only happen when you duplicate an event with Custom repeats and try to edit those repeats correct?
When you duplicate an event all the previous event’s post meta data is copied over, custom repeat data is saved as meta data.
We will look through this and see if we can replicate this issue in our and and get a proper fix for you.
As a temp solution, I would recommend, after duplicate, switch to different repeat type like monthly and save changes, reload page and switch over to custom repeat and add new dates.
