Sorry I thought I replied to here, but I guess not, I was able to get this working. the code changes I made, I will include in the next update to tickets addon.

My above solution was to resolve the variations not working. It seemed Artem was not able to replicate the QR Code issue with the test event above. 

Can you send us a link to an event where QR code is not generated? If it is not generating, it has to be some PHP error causing it. You can enable WP Debug and see if that catch any issues.

What was changed from where it worked to not work? was something updated to new version? 

I would also highly highly recommend you invest in a staging/clone site where you can load the updated versions of plugins/themes before deploying them on live site and causing real-time sale delays.

Couldn’t I hook after evcal_lmlink_target and set an action to yes for the switcher? I’m just not 100% sure how to write that code.
