Interesting, on our end this seems to be working. Sort by post date is handled from includes/class-calendar_generator.php (line 636) the sorting is pushed into wp_query. Because post_date and menu_order are supported by wordpress query, where are the switch you found is custom codes that is not supported from wp_query.

If you want to share a link to your site and wp-admin we can check to see what is not working on your end.

Hi,

I understand the alt text for WordPress media files. However, we have dozens of programs being added to our library’s event calendar daily from multiple staff members. It would take a lot of extra effort to go in and individually edit the alt text by myself for every file uploaded to our website. Is there any way the staff could do it themselves when uploading a file to the events calendar?

I went ahead and refunded you for the repeat customizer addon and it is removed from the subscription now.

I think you purchased both the addons from the same order that is why they both share same order ID and you have removed Repeat Customizer on Oct 30, 2025.

Any how , should be good to go now 🙂

Kind Regards!

Jason

Hello Mohamood, thank you very much for sharing that with us! We greatly appreciate you helping us out in making eventON better!!!

I have added CSV importer addon into your order #210396 — the whole order will be renewed on 2026 june 11. You can remove the addons you do not want on the order from https://www.myeventon.com/my-account/subscriptions/ — then click View and remove the addon on subscription.

Also if you would like to continue to help us out, we could use some help 🙂 compensated of course for you time 🙂 — if you are interested please reach out via info [at] myeventon.com

Cheers!

Hello,

WordPress itself handles the image uploading process using Media.

Please take a look at this guide on how to add alt text to images:

Could you also update EventON to 5.0.2?

To update eventon to latest version: If you are unable to do autoupdate, you can go to codecanyon your account > download and get the latest eventon version as zip file. Then you can go to your website > make sure “Delete eventon settings & data when EventON is uninstalled” is Deslected from eventon settings, delete old eventon, install new one and activate. This link will further explain the process it. Also you can follow us on twitter to get real-time announcements on updates!
