Edit Event > Event Date/Time should be set the way it becomes the first repeat. So for example if you want Apr 6 to become the first repeat, please change Event Date/Time to April 6, 2024 07:30pm/April 6, 2024 10:00pm:

Is it still possible to add a preload animation easily just to show it is working would be helpful in case the issue returns for some reason.
