The month is August due to the month_increment settting. The +1 is up there now. When the the August calendar loads, there are no events. You scroll back to July, there are events, the ‘current month’ indicator pops up. If you scroll back to August, the events then show up. No ‘current month’ indicator.

It’s no good.
I have event shortcode all over the site so disabling caching on just one page isn’t going to cut it. It is now clear the progress bar needs to go (at the very least)
The only thing I could find about Eventon on WP Rocket was this https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1560-delay-javascript-execution-compatibility-exclusions#eventon-lite – but that doesn’t help at all
Took me 3 weeks to get here so pretty bummed I have to say. I wish it was compatible

Could you please try the instructions mentioned in this documentation to make sure your issue is indeed coming from eventon.
Also try installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ plugin and enable Troubleshooting Mode.

also is it possible to include event category to custom posts? any workaround for this?
Thank you for your great suggestion, at the moment it is not supported. However please create a new ticket and select Feature Request as category so others can vote on your idea and get it moved into development faster.
