So people can still buy tickets and set themself to the waitlist at the same time.

Are you referring to Tickets or RSVP add-on? Waitlist only works with RSVP add-on. Please check my first message.

okay we did but still nothing changed. we still have the same issue as above. So people can still buy tickets and set themself to the waitlist at the same time. the waitlist must only be visible when the event is sold out. i think that is normal right? how can we do this?

settings > hide past events is NOT turned on

I have made you an event thats not working anymore. Have a look at the copy version of koordinatorenseminar. After 8 savings the problem occured. Thx.

The saving works only for several times fine. After view savings the problem occurs. Pls check again. If you duplicate an event you can not save it anymore after perhaps 20 or 25 savings.
