Thanks for your help, I was confusing the main EventOn plugin with our version of the EventON – Event Lists add-on. The error was caused by the old ‘Event Lists add-on’ looking for the ‘‘ function that doesn’t exist in the new version of EventON.
After disabling the Event Lists add-on, we were able to successfully update the plugin, but some customizations that we are using to display uploaded documents related to meetings are not working. We will have to sort these out before actually doing the plugin update.
We are using Advanced Custom Fields to upload documents related to specific events, and then display a link to the document downloads on the event calendar (with each event). We are using these filters:
add_filter(‘eventon_eventtop_two’, ‘eventon_insert’, 10, 3);
function eventon_insert($array, $evvals, $passval){
$array[‘custom’] = array(‘eventid’=>$passval[‘eventid’], ‘evvals’=>$evvals);
return $array;
}
// include in index as part of event top array
add_filter(‘evo_eventtop_adds’, ‘eventon_top_adds’, 10, 1);
function eventon_top_adds($array){
$array[] = ‘custom’;
return $array;
}
// add the links to the documents in the event listings
add_filter(‘eventon_eventtop_custom’, ‘eventon_top_content’, 10, 3);
function eventon_top_content($object, $helpers, $EVENT){
$event_id = $object->eventid;
//we then get the links for the documents uploaded and display them with the event.
$agenda_link = get_field(‘meeting_agenda_upload’, $event_id);
if ( isset($agenda_link) && !empty($agenda_link) ) {
$output .= ‘<span data-href=”‘.$agenda_link.'” class=”pdf meeting-data-link”>Agenda</span>’;
}
return $output;
}
Have these filters changed in recent updates to the plugin?
