As for the the second issue, please follow the instructions in this documentation to activate debug in your site to see any PHP errors recorded that can provide insight on to whats going on. Please reply with a link to debug.log file. If you are not able to do this please send us FTP access to your site so we can do this for you.

Your EventON > Time Settings > Default Timezone is Rome, but wp-admin > Settings > Timezone is set to 0. Could you set them both the same number?

Please also, if you haven’t, go to EventON > Time Settings > check Default Timezone. It should be the same as in wp-admin > Settings > General. And also in Edit Event.

Please follow “Basic Custom Usage” of the guide and then eacho $event_term instead of $event_term->name to see all available data fields.

But it seems that you’ve already applied the patch by removing “return”.
