Currently when I look at your website. the image is maintaining its aspect ratio correctly. And lightbox is adjusting to hold image resized version with correct aspect ratio.

As for #1 — the idea is, you retain the user on the same tab/page instead opening multiple tabs. We will see if we can offer an option in the settings to choose whether to load lightbox version of Organizer information or open the organizer archive page — in the coming updates. 

Yes we are going to add this exact code changes in the next version update to tickets addon so no need to worry my friend 🙂

ajde_events are custom post types, which are similar to normal wordpress posts. post_title and post_content save title and description for events.
